IT’S all worth the wait!<\/p>\n

Sulit na sulit ang ilang buwan ng masusing preparasyon bago sa wakas ay maisapubliko na ang wax figure ni Lea Salonga for Madame Tussauds.<\/p>\n

With the recent unveiling ceremony at Solaire in Pasay City, tumambad na ang wax likeness ng only Filipino Broadway star.<\/p>\n

To be displayed in Singapore beginning September 20, the statue was flown to Manila for everyone to see.<\/p>\n

Hindi nga mapigilan ni Lea na mamangha sa kanyang “kambal” looking exactly like her: “I’m still in disbelief!”<\/p>\n

The wax figure is wearing a blue gown by her long-time friend Rajo Laurel who was also present during the unveiling event.<\/p>\n

Lea couldn’t help but reminisce her trip to Singapore with her mom Ligaya when she was 12.<\/p>\n

Stopping for a visit at Madame Tussauds, the young singer was delighted to see the wax figure of Liza Minelli who she met in person many years later.<\/p>\n

She remembers her mom telling her: “You’ll never know, one day you’ll also have one!”<\/p>\n

Lea is the fourth Filipino to have a wax figure–Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Manny Pacquiao, Miss Universe Catriona Gray..<\/p>\n
