Batay sa 23-pahinang kautusan na may petsang Hulyo 20, tinukoy ng korte na sapat ang ebidensyang inilahad ng prosekusyon laban kina Quiboloy, Sylvia Cema\u00f1es, Paulene Canada, Jackielyn Roy, Cresente Canada, at Ingrid Canada, kaugnay sa dalawang bilang ng qualified trafficking na umano’y isinagawa ng isang sindikato.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt this juncture, the prosecution has sufficiently shown that the evidence of guilt against all the accused is strong on the two crimes of qualified human trafficking committed by a syndicate,\u201d ayon sa kautusan.<\/p>\n
\u201cThus, given these pieces of evidence against all the accused at this point which establish a great presumption of guilt for purposes of bail, the Court must deny their petitions for bail.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nilinaw ng korte na ang desisyong ito ay tumutukoy lamang sa petisyon para sa piyansa at hindi pa pagpapasya sa pinakahuling hatol sa kaso.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Court is merely tasked with resolving the Petitions for Bail filed by all the accused, and not with rendering a judgment on the merits of the case. There remains a long process ahead, and both parties have the opportunity to present further evidence,\u201d dagdag pa nito.<\/p>\n
Si Quiboloy ay nahaharap sa non-bailable charge sa ilalim ng Section 4(a) ng Republic Act No. 9208, na amyendado, kaugnay sa qualified human trafficking.<\/p>\n
May kinakaharap din siyang hiwalay na kaso sa Quezon City sa ilalim ng Sections 5(b) at 10(a) ng Republic Act No. 7610\u2014ang batas laban sa pang-aabuso, eksploitasyon, at diskriminasyon sa mga bata.
