KOMPIYANSA si House Assistant Majority Leader at Lanao del Sur 1st District Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong na ang pagdagdag kina incoming Representatives Leila de Lima at Chel Diokno sa House prosecution panel ay isang malaking hakbang sa pagpapalakas ng kaso laban kay impeached Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sinabi ni Adiong na ang presensya ng dalawang prominenteng human rights lawyers ay malaki ang maitutulong sa aspetong legal at moral ng impeachment trial upang makakuha ng conviction laban kay VP Sara sa Senado.
“With the addition of incoming Reps. De Lima and Diokno, we see the convergence of moral clarity and legal precision in our pursuit of conviction,” sabi ni Adiong.
“Their presence brings not only valuable expertise but also a profound human rights perspective that elevates the quality of the entire proceeding.”
Nakatakdang manungkulan bilang kinatawan ng Mamamayang Libera si De Lima habang si Diokno ng Akbayan Party-list sa 20th Congress.
Simboliko aniya ang pagsama ni De Lima sa prosecution panel lalo na’t dati siyang senador at Justice Secretary.
“Her inclusion is more than strategic; it is poetic. It tells us that the advance of justice, may be delayed, but never denied,” aniya.
Habang si Diokno na may matatag na paninindigan bilang tagapagtaguyod ng human rights at komitment sa Konstitusyon ay nangangahulugan na ang magiging paglilitis laban kay VP Sara ang tungkol sa katotohanan at hind palabas lamang.
