Hiniling ni Manila 2nd District Representative Rolando “CRV” M. Valeriano kay Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon at sa Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) na sampahan ng kaukulang kaso ang mga taong mapapatunayang nasa likod ng dispalinghado at palpak na Sunog Apog Pumping Station sa Tondo, Manila.
Kasabay nito pinasalamatan naman ni Valeriano, Chairman ng House Committee on Public Order and Safety, si Dizon dahil sa pagbisita at pag-iinspeksiyon nito sa nasabing pumping station.
“The non-operational pumping station is the result of culpable supervision of DPWH engineers and substandard work by DPWH contractors MSB Vitug/J.D.
“The House investigation was in aid of legislation, which means it was limited to fact-finding and recommendations. The mandate to file charges and recover wasted funds now lies with the Department of Public Works and Highways and the Independent Commission for Infrastructure,” wika ni Valeriano.
