Hindi nagsisinungaling si presidential son at Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos nang isiwalat niya na may mga hininging kondisyon ang kampo ni dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kapalit ng suporta sa presidential bid noong 2022 ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
“He has raised his kids well and his son, Cong. Sandro will not lie,” tugon itoni Palace Press Officer Claire Castro hinggil sa reaksyon ni Marcos Jr. sa rebelasyon ng kanyang anak.
“Nandun kami sa Presidential Guest House ipinasok, and at the time, there were still no official endorsement from Malacañang. We were supposed to meet the president at the time, but instead hinarap kami sa tatlong tao… they essentially asked, ‘Ano plano mo,’ ‘Ano magagawa mo para sa amin’,” lahad ni Rep. Marcos sa panayam sa programang Kwatro Alas noong Sabado.
“There was one person who’s a sitting official now… sinabi niya kay Pangulo (Marcos Jr.) na, sige suportahan ka namin on the condition that kami mamimili ng [Executive Secretary], Speaker, Senate President, marami silang hiningi,” dagdag niya.
“When we left the Palace, tumingin tatay ko sa’kin, ‘Alam mo, kulang na lang patayin na nila `ko’’,” sabi pa ni Rep. Marcos. # (RRN)
