Susuportahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. ang presidential candidate na magpapatuloy sa kanyang kampanya kontra korapsyon, ngunit sa ngayon ay wala pa siyang napipisil na isasabong kay Vice President Sara Duterte sa 2028 presidential derby.
“I will certainly endorse a candidate in the 2028 elections. Who that is, I don’t know. Maaga pa. So far we only have one person who has thrown her hat in the ring,” sabi ni Marcos Jr. sa luncheon sa Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (FOCAP).
“The candidate I will endorse will be someone who I am confident will continue our anti-corruption measures,” aniya..
Sa ngayon aniya ay wala pa siyang nakakausap na posibleng presidential bet pero tiniyak niya na sa tamang panahon ay “best candidate” ang kanyang pipiliit na kapalit sa poder.
“I haven’t sat down with anyone and said, ‘Do you want to run for president or not?’” anang presidente.
“The time will come and we will provide… We will certainly provide the best candidate for the betterment of lives of Filipino,” pagtiyak niya.
“We will choose the best possible candidate. We will continue what we have started, and we will bring even new and hopefully even better initiatives to the development of our country.” # (RRN)
