PATAY ang tatlong katao habang 14 ang sugatan sa naganap na pagsabog sa Mindanao State University sa Marawi City kaninang pasado alas-8 ng umaga habang nagmimisa sa gymnasium ng unibersidad.
Umabot sa 40 katao ang dinala sa Amai Pakpak Medical Center.
Nagpahayag ng pagkadesmaya sa nakapanghihilakbot na insidente ng karahasan ang MSU.
“We unequivocally condemn in the strongest possible terms this senseless and horrific act,”anang MSU sa isang kalatas.
“We are aware of the heightened sensitivities and concerns that arise from such a tragic event, and we want to assure everyone that we are taking every measure possible to protect our students, faculty, and staff,” dagdag nito.
Sinuspinde ng MSU ang mga klase “until further notice,” kasabay ng dagdag na seguridad sa campus.
“We are working closely with the local government units and law enforcement authorities to investigate this incident and bring the perpetrators to justice,” anang MSU.
Wala pang grupong umaamin na nasa likod ng madugong insidente. (ZIA LUNA)
