AMINADO si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na pakiramdam niya ay nilinlang siya ni Vice President Sara Duterte nang marinig na hindi pala siya itinuring na kaibigan ng bise presidente
Inilabas ni Marcos Jr. ang kanyang pagkadismaya kay Duterte sa panayam ng media sa kanya sa Laos.
“ That’s a good question. I don’t know anymore. I am not quite sure I understand. I’m a little dismayed to hear that she doesn’t think that we are friends. I always thought that we were. But maybe I was deceived,” tugon ni Marcos Jr. sa tanong hinggil sa kasalukuyang relasyon nila ni Duterte.
Nang lisanin aniya ni Duterte ang pagiging miyembro ng gabinete, itinuting na niya itong hindi na bahagi ng kanyang administrasyon.
“She left the administration, so she is not part of the administration anymore. She’s not part of the, really the day to day whelming of what we’re doing so it will be unfair to ask her all of the sudden to impose that duty on her since that is not part of her work now,” paliwanag ni Marcos Jr.
Hindi masabi ni Marcos Jr. ng direkta na wala na siyang tiwala kay Duterte kaya hindi niya ginawang caretaker sa gobyerno habang nasa Laos siya upang dumalo sa ASEAN Summit.
“No it’s a very practical reason, actually That’s how I came to that conclusion. If you notice, the membership of the Executive Committee…they are all members of the cabinet now. That seems to be the obvious way to handle it,” anang Pangulo.
Matatandaan nagbitiw si Duterte bilang kalihim ng Department of Education noong Hunyo 2024 at mula noon ay naging kritikal siya sa administrasyong Marcos Jr.
Ilang organisadong grupo at personalidad ang nagpahayag ng kahandaan na maghain ng impeachment complaint laban kay Duterte kaugnay sa kuwestiyonableng paggasta niya sa confidential fund ng Office of the Vice President gayundin sa pondo ng DepEd. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
