MAARING maglabas ng show cause order ang House quad committee laban kay Mylah Roque, misis ni dating Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, kapag hindi siya sumipot sa susunod na pagdiniig.
Sinabi ni Surigao del Sur 2nd District Rep. Johnny Pimentel na inimbitahan si Mylah dahil siya umano ang pumirma sa lease contract ng Chinese nationals sa sinalakay na bahay sa Tuba, Benguet kamakailan.
Ang mga naturang Chinese nationals, ani Pimentel, ay may kaugnayan sa operasyon ng POGO hub sa Bamban,Tarlac.
“We already invited her three hearings ago. In fact, we already issued a subpoena to Mrs. Mylah Roque, she has not appeared. Most probably or highly likely during the next hearing we will already move for a show cause order to Mrs. Mylah Roque, why she does not want to appear in our committee,” sabi ni Pimentel sa panayam sa ANC.
“It is also important, you know why, because the lease contract between the Chinese national Huang Yun in the rental of the house in Tuba, Benguet is signed by Mrs. Mylah Roque. Actually, the house is owned by a corporation and that corporation is owned by a corporation wherein Harry Roque is a majority stockholder. So in effect, it is Harry Roque who owns the house actually, and it was Mylah Roque who signed the lease agreement with the Chinese national who is involved in the Bamban, Tarlac Pogo operations,” paliwanag ng mambabatas.
Naglabas ng arrest warrant ang quad comm noong Biyernes laban sa dating presidential spokesman dahil sa pagkabigong isumite sa komite ang mga dokumentong may kaugnayan sa iniimbestigahang illegal POGO activities ng kompanyang kliyente niya.
Hindi tinanggap sa law office ni Roque ang arrest warrant na inihain ng House Sgt -at-arms kaya itinuturing siya sa kasalukuyan bilang pugante. (ZIA LUNA)
