“This refers to the expiration of the tenure of Mr. PAULINO MALINAY GUTIERREZ as Executive Director of the Presidential Task force on Media Security. On behalf of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., this is to inform you that the expiration of his tenure shall take effect immediately,” sabi ni Bersamin.
“While I was detained at the Senate, a media personnel who introduced himself as Paul Gutierrez who worked as staff of Secretary Benny Antiporda, accompanied by a Blue Ribbon Committee staff, came to my room at the Senate where I was detained and threatened me,” ani Guban.
Habang noong 17 Agosto 2024 ay opisyal na inanunsyo ng pahayagang People’s Journal sa kanilang website ang pagtanggal kay Gutierrez bilang kolumnista o contributor ng sister publication nitong People’s Tonight.
“His views do not reflect those of ours, and his actions are his private concerns,” ayon sa kalatas.
(ROSE NOVENARIO)
