SASAMPAHAN ng Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) ng kasong qualified human trafficking, isang non bailable offense, sa Miyerkoles Oktubre 16, si dating Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque sa Department of Justice (DOJ).
Inihayag ito ni PAOCC Spokesman Winston Casio sa panayam kagabi sa programang Fact First with Christian Esguerra sa YouTube.
“Kami naman ay hindi nagsasampa ng kahit anong kaso na walang sapat na ebidensya. Kung ginusto naming na magsampa na ang ebidensya sa palagay naming ay sapat lang, dapat noon pa. Noong unang bugso ng mga kaso laban sa mga Porac principals, sana ay nakasama na po siya. Pero kami po ay nagsasagawa ng maayos na case build-up at ang sabi naman niya ay haharapin namin ito sa korte, maglalaban kami sa korte,” paliwanag ni Casio.
Ayon kay Casio, ang Whirlwind Corporation at Lucky South 99 ay iisa lamang, pati ang mga taong nasa likod nito.
Ang illegal POGO hub na sinalakay ng PAOCC sa Porac, Pampanga ay pagmamay-ari ng Lucky South 99.
“Whirlwind Corporation and Lucky South 99 are one and the same. They are two heads of the same animal. The people behind them are one and the same, It’s just a matter of corporate layering na tinatawag,” sabi ni Casio.
“We were able to pierce the corporate veil, and we were able to establish the people behind these organizations are one and the same. More than that, nasa public records naman, Mr. Harry roque went to see Chairman Al Tengco , Atty. Jessa Fernandez and so on and so forth. In all of the discussions that he was present, he never mentioned about Whirlwind Corporation. He was there lawyering for Lucky South 99 on public record yan sinabi ni Chairman Al Tengco at ni Atty. Jessa Fernandez,” giit ni Casio.
Matatandaan pinanindigan ni Roque sa House quad comm hearing na abogado siya ni Cassandra Li Ong ng Whirlwind Corporation at hindi ng Lucky South 99.
Kinompirma ni Casio na may mga lokal na opisyal na iniimbestigahan ang PAOCC sa illegal POGO hub sa Porac ngunit naunahan sila ng Office of the Ombudsman na pinatawan ang mga ito ng anim na buwan na suspension without pay dahil sa gross neglect of duty.
“We have reasons to believe, based on our findings that these officials abetted Lucy South 99 in Porac, Pampanga,” ani Casio.
Batay sa kautusan na nilagdaan ni Ombudsman Samuel Martires ay sinuspinde sina Porac Mayor Jaime Capil, Porac Vice Mayor Francis Laurence Tamayo, at councilors Rohner Buan, Rafael Canlapan, Adrian Carreon, Regin Clarete, Essel Joy David, Hilario Dimalanta, Michelle Santos, and John Nuevy Venzon, gayundin ang licensing assistant at noo’y officer-in-charge ng Business and Licensing Office, Emerald Vital.
Nagtatago sa kasalukuyan si Roque mula maglabas ng arrest warrant ang House quad comm bunsod ng contempt dahil sa hindi niya pagsusumite ng mga dokumento sa komite na ipinangako niyang ibibigay. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
