HINATULANG guilty sa indirect contempt ng Korte Suprema si Dr. Lorraine Badoy-Partosa dahil red-tagging at pagbabanta sa buhay ni Judge Marlo A. Magdoza-Malagar ng Manila Regional Trial Court, Branch 19.
“For her vitriolic statements and outright threats against Judge Magdoza-Malagar and the Judiciary, respondent is found guilty of indirect contempt and fined PHP 30,000.00 with a warning that repeating the same or similar acts will lead to a more severe penalty,” ayon sa desisyon ng Supreme Court.
“She is FINED the amount of PHP 30,000 and WARNED that a repetition of the same or similar acts in the future shall merit a more severe action.”
Matatandaan noong Setyembre 2022 ay nagsagawa ang Supreme Court ng motu propio action laban kay Badoy, dating tagapagsalita ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) matapos iwasiwas sa kanyang social media account ang pag-uugnay kay Magdoza-Malagar sa Communist Party of the Philippines- New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) at pagbantaan ang kanyang buhay.
“Today, the Supreme Court En Banc tackled motu propio possible actions in A.M. No. 22-09-16-SC (Re: Judge Marlo A, Magdoza-Malagar) regarding statements made by a certain Lorraine Badoy containing threats against Judge Marlo A. Magdoza-Malagar of the Manila Regional Trial Court, Branch 19,” anang kalatas ng Supreme Court noong 27 Setyembre 2022.
Nag-ugat ang usapin nang ibasura ni Magdoza-Malagar ang petisyon ng Department of Justice na ipadeklarang illegal at terorista ang CPP-NPA.
“So if I kill this judge and I do so out of my political belief that all allies of the CPP NPA NDF must be killed because there is no difference in my mind between a member of the CPP NPA NDF and their friends, then please be lenient with me,” sabi ni Badoy.
“Like the true ally that she is of this terrorist organization, Judge Malagar spoke about an issue that wasn’t even part of this case and that is a weapon badly needed by the CPP NPA NDF to continue recruitment of our children, their fund-raising/extortion activities and propaganda against government: redtagging,” dagdag ni Badoy.
