NAKATAKDANG magsampa ng kasong obstruction of justice ang Philippine National Police laban sa mga taong tumulong para makapagtago sa batas si Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

Sinabi ni PNP chief Gen. Rommel Marbil na hindi makakaiwas sa aresto si Quiboloy kung walang nagkanlong sa kanyang “close associates, including legal representatives who actively misled authorities regarding his exact whereabouts.”

“Obstruction of justice is a serious offense, and those who aided in shielding Quiboloy from law enforcement will be charged accordingly. The law is clear—no one is above it, and those who helped Quiboloy will be held accountable,” ani Marbil sa isang kalatas.

“We will not tolerate any form of obstruction to justice. Our investigation aims to identify those who knowingly provided refuge to Quiboloy, and we will ensure they face appropriate legal consequences,” aniya.

Matatandaang nadakip si Quiboloy noong Setyembre 8 alas-sais ng gabi sa loob ng KOJC compound sa Davao City, kung saan dalawang linggong nakaistasyon ang mga pulis.

Nahaharap si Quiboloy sa mga kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act, at qualified human trafficking.

Habang sa Amerika ay wanted siya sa mga kasong conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion and sex trafficking of children; sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion; conspiracy; at bulk cash smuggling.

Inamin ni Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez na matutuloy ang extradition ni Quiboloy sa US. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
